1.2A 3MHz Step-down DC-DC converter with
synchronous rectifier driver AN30180A

  The AN30180A is a hysteretic controlled DCDC buck converter. When the load current changes suddenly, it responds at high speed and suppresses the change of output voltage to the minimum.
The AN30180A has a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and the output voltage is adjustable between 1.2V, 1.35V, 1.85V and 3.3V with 2 external control pins. The device operates at 100% duty cycle when input voltage approaches the output voltage and can deliver up to 1.2A output current.
The high switching frequency of 3MHz switching frequency allows the use of small output capacitors and inductors to achieve a small solution size.
The AN30180A is available in space-saving 1.5mm×1.5mm WLCSP package and is a perfect choice for CPU power supply in any portable equipment.
