Panasonic's System LSI PH1-Pro4 (model number: MN2WS0230 series) for high quality and multi-channel distribution, which is possible simultaneously to compress and play back VGA images 12 streams or full HD images three streams with a single-chip. Fast dual-core CPU (ARM®* Cortex TM*-A9 Dual) as well as our original fast parallel media processor IPP3 are embedded on newly developed LSI. The use of this product is possible to realize a home server that can simultaneously view different images of such as multiple TVs, smart-phones, tablet PCs. This is an LSI for contactless IC tags supporting Near Field Communication ( NFC ) technology.
Just approaching to IC tags, NFC devices like smartphones can communicate with them to read/write data.
Embedding this LSI in various equipments enables radio communication between them and NFC devices.
In addition, with built-in memory for data retention, this LSI can be used as an individual wireless IC tag.
This LSI works with the power supplied wirelessly from NFC devices, and enables radio communication
to NFC devices even while equipments with this LSI are turned off.
Using this LSI as an individual contactless IC tag enables you to configure the system without power supply.
